Description

Over 3.5 million people per year visit the observation deck of the Empire State Building.  I doubt anyone other than Miguel Angel Garcia saw The Big Apple in just this way.  What better part of our infrastructure is more unique than our water towers?  Stretching to the horizon, they dot the rooftops of buildings large and small, like apples on a tree.

In his earlier series Independencias, Miguel applied this technique to highlight unique architectural features in the capital cities of the European Union.  Can you guess what is unique to Athens, or Vienna?
