Kenneth Snelson: Photographs
| For almost 30 years, Kenneth Snelson has been using a cirkut camera to record 360-degree views of urban centers and garden landscapes. In conjunction with a concurrent exhibit of his sculpture at neighboring Marlborough Gallery, we will present a selection of these inclusive panoramas, which record time and space in a single scan and that cannot be read in one glance. In the same way that his sculpture demands balance and precision to work effectively, these photographs require a precise hand and eye to compose an image that will be still enough for the casual viewer to comprehend and grand enough for us to marvel. |
