 Eugene Atget  Hidden Spaces

Eugene Atget (1857-1927) is without doubt one of the most important and influential photographers of the 20th Century. Laurence Miller Gallery will present 15 original prints by this master Parisian photographer from December 6 through January 21, 2004. Focusing mainly on Atget's images of hidden spaces, the exhibition will feature doorways, courtyards, impenetrable windows and ornate interiors that reveal the often unseen aspects of Paris, as well as Atget's quirky and mysterious side.
