Eadweard Muybridge collotypes
| A collotype is a a kind of photo-lithograph in which glass replaces stone as the printing surface. Each collotype measures approximately 19 x 23 1/2 inches. These prints are original pages from the portfolio sets published by the University of Pennsylvania in 1887. All plate numbers and titles refer to Muybridge's Complete Human and Animal Locomotion, three edition set, Dover Publications, 1979. Serious collectors may request a condition report on any collotype. Please inquire as to price and availability. |
