Eadweard Muybridge Animals Locomotion Collotypes

A collotype is a a kind of photo-lithograph in which glass replaces stone as the printing surface. Each collotype measures approximately 19 x 23 1/2 inches. These prints are original pages from the portfolio sets published by the University of Pennsylvania in 1887.
