Description

July 4, 2022
The works in Simone Rosenbauer's series Like Ice in the Sunshine are equally nostalgic and visually refreshing. The picture on the lower right captures an institution of American summers, the Bomb Pop, which was invented in July of 1955 by James S. Merritt and D.S. Abernethy in Kansas City, Missouri. The popsicle's "original" flavor proceeds from cherry, to lime, to blue raspberry.
