Simone Rosenbauer's LIKE ICE IN THE CLOUDS was made while in residency in Japan last year. These pictures are part of her ongoing LIKE ICE IN THE SUNSHINE series which uses a Pop Art sensibility to deliver joyful images that capture both the nostalgic pleasures, and fleeting quality, of the summer months.
We debuted this most recent entry in the series at THE PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW presented by AIPAD, where they caught the eye of many visitors to the show, particualry the youngest attendees, hopefully inspiring the next generation of photography collectors.
