This picture greets the eye with a riot of sun-baked color. Jeffrey Milstein’s photo of Luna Park in Coney Island, Brooklyn, uses a wide depth of field to keep every aspect of the scene in sharp focus, allowing the eye to wander around the carnival rides as if you just stepped off the boardwalk yourself. You can practically smell the funnel cake.

Jeffrey Milstein was born in the Bronx and earned his pilot's license at age 17. His passion for flight led directly to his aerial images of man-made landscapes.
