In the spring of 2002, we exhibited Ray Metzker's "composites" along side Dodo Jin Ming's seascapes. Robert Frank, a close friend of Dodo's, came to the opening. As we relaxed in the back, Robert said to Ray: "If I hadn't done what I did, I would have done what you did."
